Interprétation:
Le score PESI (Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index) est un score pronostic de gravité pour les patients présentant une embolie pulmonaire. Les patients de classe I et II sont considérés à faible risque de complication. Le score S-PESI (PESI simplifié), moins fiable, est donné à titre indicatif. La classe et la gravité données sont calculées sur le score PESI.

The Pulmonary Embolism Severity Index (PESI) is a well validated and highly reliable clinical pronostic model for patients with acute pulmonary embolism.

	Sexe masculin
	Cancer (antécédent ou évolutif).
	Insuffisance cardiaque
	Insuffisance respiratoire chronique.
	Fréquence cardiaque ≥ 110/mn.
	Pression artérielle systolique < 100 mmHg.
	Fréquence respiratoire ≥ 30/mn.
	Température < 36°C.
	Altération de l'état de conscience. (désorientation, léthargie, stupeur, ou coma)
	Saturation artérielle en oxygène < 90%. (sans et avec oxygène)
